last week we were painting cards and one of my friends said they messed up. I was commiserating until they put their brush down, flipped their card, wrote down the date, and like. put it into a sketchbook. to keep. my brain stopped working like how do you just DO that-

basically my friends made me realize that my art is something I can grow to cherish, and if any of u are like me i hope you can find art friends that have a healthy relationship with their creations so you have an example of how natural loving your own work should be

I dont think they understood what that meant to me, I didnt at the time either, but i guess my brain took that as permission to feel good about my art or something because I keep looking back at my card and like...i kinda like it now???
