He plays chess while others play checkers. Some candidates are pushing buzz words that they know play on our fears and anger, like “genocide” and “abolish ICE”. Feels a bit disingenuous because they know voters want to hear it but they’re missing key context — a Gov doesn’t have that kind of power, our existing laws don’t support what they’re claiming they want to do, a wish list is great and might sound wonderful on the surface but it’s not legally realistic — why would you want someone who’s blowing smoke up your arse? This is Julius. My neighbors decided to kick him out of the house and stop leaving food out for him so he came and asked if he could move in. How could I say no! He came to me with an u.r.i, heart murmur and is fiv+. 2 days ago he got neutered, up to date on all vaccines. His blood work came back good. I'm waiting for the "honeymoon phase" to be over so I can see what kind of shenanigans he is capable of.

My husband invited his new coworkers over for dinner. When they arrived he introduced me by gesturing at me and saying "this is mrs Smith (didn't even say my name)...the housewife!" I looked at him for a second then I started laughing hysterically. I then told said "no honey I work full time and YES I still act like a housewife when I'm home because you simply can't bother to help". His co workers were staring at him as he tried to laugh and change the subject and ask what they wanted to drink. Dinner went super awkward with him giving me looks and stares. Once the guests left he blew up saying I embarrassed him by laughing like a lunatic and then making the comment I made infront of his new coworks and ruining his image. I told him he was wrong to lie about my status and deny my degree to begin with. He said I could've talked to him about it privately later but not like this, and making his coworkers think he's useless. He stormed off and has been quiet the entire night. Was i out of line?

My ex-wife is a different person after our divorce She was always debbie downer, putting bare minimum into herself and her dress. She was always stressed, one minute from a nervous breakdown. I'd tell her to relax and she'd get angry. I'd ask her what she needs from me, she'd throw a tantrum. We got divorced because I couldn't handle her issues, her hot and cold behavior. I saw her today at a mutual friend's wedding, she looks so different I didn't recognise her at first. She was the woman I dated in college again. Beautiful, funny and the center of the room. Why couldn't she be that woman for me? Why did it take me leaving for her to be herself again?
