Milky Way over the Sacred Valley, Peru. The lights of Cusco silhouette the foothills of Sahuasiray, while the small towns along the Urubamba illuminate the valley.

@TXMCtrades Too bad congress refuses to do their damn job and collaborate on sensible policy, so all we ever get are these executive branch policies guided by voters motivated at the political extremes.

The Biden admin opened the spigot too wide and the natural result is that the new admin has swung the pendulum to the polar opposite extreme and produced negative migration, which on a long enough timeline is worse. Bottom line is this country needs healthy immigration of productive people who wish to assimilate into American culture, or many of the systemic promises made (such as entitlements) will collapse under their own weight and real growth will likely suffer. A stagnant aging population is a bad thing actually.

Trump: "For the first time in more than 50 years, we now have reverse migration. A beautiful thing actually."

We have reached the point in Bitcoin adoption where the average holder is now dumb. This isn’t a throw away comment or joke as it has extreme implications when it comes to consensus.

@TXMCtrades Star Trek suggests people will just do more ambitious tasks and work toward collective success rather than simply sit at home or working meaningless jobs like trash collector. I never see people paying for drinks or food or housing, but they’re still working like bees doing stuff

Fading this entirely. On no planet would this be a good thing. We are not all going to sit at home collecting infinite stimmy checks while robots churn out abundance. Unhinged proposal.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

Now we just need to convince the FED to put $STRC on its balance sheet for the ultimate flywheel. Imagine the government issuing debt at 4% and the FED earning 11% from its balance sheet.

News stories I've seen on my feed just in the past couple hours: -Trump mad at Iran for charging ships in the Strait even tho he floated that idea via a "joint US-Iran venture" earlier this week -Iran refuses to attend peace talks unless Lebanon is part of ceasefire -White House reportedly had to warn staff against gambling on Iran events in betting markets, which implies there was def somebody doing that before -Melania giving a bizarre denial of her association with Epstein even tho she emails Ghislaine and has dozens of photos with her and JE over like a decade -Trump tells a reporter he had no idea Melania would say any of that, but says "she didn't know [Epstein]" -White House reporters allegedly had no idea Melania would make a statement either -Daily Beast claims recordings show Epstein being Trump's "closest friend for 19 years" -UK news program reading the Melania email to Ghislaine from the Epstein files on air (to which Ghislaine had replied calling her "sweet pea") -Trump posting a giant block text rant against half a dozen people who used to be supporters but have now jumped ship 😵‍💫 head spinning shit guys lol. Are there ANY adults in charge

@BlueRidgeBTC @TomerStrolight Unlikely it will route. Would require significant two way transactions, channel closes, and openings. Lighting network works, but it’s not robust and liquid enough to support even hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of value in single transactions with any frequency

Are we seeing a lot of $2 million UTXOs or are the Iranians too good at UTXO management for us to see what’s up? Or is the news simply wrong?

@HodlMagoo @notthreadguy Will we now find out how many of the mining pools are captured?? Is “on chain analysis” worth its salt? How many shipping companies will reveal the addresses they sent the payments to, total amounts, individual UTXO sizes?

@notthreadguy I used Bitcoin for a payment about an hour ago and I concede it’s not frictionless like a credit card but do you think Iran wants to use something the US can sanction and freeze at will?

Some people in Puerto Rico are apparently upset because I identified as Puerto Rican, despite my having lived here for almost ten years and raised two of my children here. However, had I identified as a Puerto Rican woman, they would have had no problem with my gender identity.

@TXMCtrades Crazy how the 70+ year olds grew their share by 10% over the last decade. Boomers are living longer, and still getting richer!

From an age perspective, you can see the deterioration in asset transfer evident in the total flat-lining of net worth ownership in those 40yrs and younger, which have only taken THREE PERCENT of national net worth away from older generations since the Great Financial Crisis. /2

Millenials are at roughly 50% of the national wealth ownership that Boomers enjoyed at the same age (early/mid 40s), and still have less a share of wealth than the Silent Generation who pre-date WW2. This is the failure of multiple decades of self-serving policy. /1

We have been societally underinvesting in young people's quality of life and upward mobility for like two full generations all in an effort to prop up the parachutes of asset holding retirees. This is completely fucking backwards.

There is no "opting out" as long as you live under the same systems of rules and govt as everyone else. Your bills are paid in fiat. Your wages are in fiat. You pay taxes in fiat. The same law enforcement and judicial apparatus protects your physical property. Save in whatever you want but this framing of "exiting the system" implies a level of freedom you are not realizing
