Well now I know why my birth mother has been so inconsistent even with the little bit we did communicate! I met her when she was well…in a period of her soberness and I’ll hold on to that.

Y’all! I had a great interview! I’m feeling confident.

I’m so nervous for tomorrow but I’m confident that my interview will go well.

I recorded a podcast episode with two other adoptees today... It was such a good conversation. It confirms again for me that the networking and collaborations with my fellow adoptees is why I do this work. And you know I had to rock some merch from @Treeseadoptee!

Yaaallllll I haven’t heard from this woman since May 19 and she got nerve to text me about checking in with THEM to see they needed anything. Last time I checked, I, your daughter, was having car trouble….do you think you checked on me a my situation a month ago

For example….the Adoptee Advocate tee includes #adopteeadvocate a quick google search of this hash tag brings people straight to our experiences hence spreading education! Same thing for the Adoptee Community tee #adopteecommunity this tee serves the same purpose!

Most importantly the phrases I create are based off of things I said everyday and we as humans love affirmations.

I was a little pissed off yesterday because someone actually thought I’m tryna make profit off our lived experiences with adoption with the selling of my inspirational merch 🤦🏾‍♀️ my merch brings awareness to our cause….adoptees are not the target market

If I told any adoptive parents I met my bio mom without including them, I would probably be disowned 💁🏾‍♀️
