@benjamincowen Been thinking about the scenario you mentioned some while ago (higher high → sweep of prior low → expansion). $NVDA and $GOOGL had a very similar weekly structure before their big moves. Could $BTC be setting up for something like this?

I wish you all a peaceful and happy Christmas 🎄. I think that today, trading has been put aside by everyone... and rightly so. For me, 2025 was a year in which I really pushed myself to exceed my limits from a work perspective. But 2026 will be even more so. I know: trading is difficult, nerve-wracking, probably one of the most complicated things there is. Few people really succeed at it. And even fewer manage, over time, to turn it into their main source of income. I'm not going to lie to you: that's how it is. Forget all the nonsense about 'easy money'. No one is going to give you anything for free. It takes years, discipline, mistakes and a lot of hard work. While I think Bitcoin dominance can be a useful metric for some stuff, it's also absolutely worthless for other things. An example that no one seems to understand: Bitcoin dominance can be bearish and drop while alts still nuke. Not in Bitcoin pair maybe but your entire portfolio can absolutely nuke compared to fiat, compared to gold or whatever you're looking at while bitcoin dominance is dropping. It doesn't mean there's an altseason. It means bitcoin is just dropping harder than alts are. Basically: Bitcoin dominance dropping in a bullish market is absolutely great. Bitcoin dominance dropping in a bearish market however won't save anyone. Trend > bitcoin dominance
