@TheProfInvestor What about stocks that are below 200 week SMA like NOW? Better to wait till 200 week SMA is reclaimed?

As a Long term investor I have to do two things: FIRST Find horizontal support Plot 200 Week Moving Average Buy strong companies right there. $AMAT tested 200 Week SMA in April 2025. It is up 400% since $AAPL tested 200 Week SMA in April 2025. It is up 80% since $NVDA tested 200 Week SMA in Oct 2022. It is up 1700% since $AMD tested 200 Week SMA in May 2025. It is up 400% since SECOND Watch for strong companies to reclaim that 200 Week SMA. You want to buy the reclaim. $INTC reclaimed 200 Week SMA in Sept 2025, it is up 300% since $MU reclaimed 200 Week SMA in April 2025, it is up 1400% since Nobody tells you this but I will: You can buy the 200 Week SMA, if it spends below that for few weeks - you want to exit and sit back until the 200 week is reclaimed. Then you try again. There is no shame in trying few times. $MSFT $CVX $HD $NFLX at near 200 Week SMA.

$ROKU This is not what I wanted. My DCA only began recently, wish we got more accumulation phase before these kinds of news. It is what it is!!! A good company for whoever is buying them. Ads will print.

6/ $ROKU - I saved the best for the last. IPO Avwap, Done. Covid lows Avwap done. A founder led business, with exceptional sustenance among the competition from $GOOGL, $AAPL, $AMZN, etc. And guess what, Ads revenue on top of it. A+ PT's: 170, 200 & 240.

Something I need to say. This account isn't a brand. Not a course funnel. Not a setup to sell you anything later. I have a full-time job. I trade. I plan. And somehow I find time to post every single day — every buy, every sell, every chart, every thesis. Free. Why? Because nobody did it for me when I started. And it cost me 70% of my wealth to learn the hard way. I'd rather you not. If this work has helped you make money, here's what I'll ever ask: 1. Repost the calls that worked for you. 2. Tag someone who needs to see this account. 3. Hit the bell so you don't miss the next one. That's it. No money. No DM. Just engagement — because the algorithm doesn't care how good the calls are. It only cares who's sharing them. Thank you to everyone who's already been doing it. I see every repost. It's the only reason this account is growing. My commitment to you: I'll keep posting. I'll keep teaching. And we'll keep building this together — the slow, honest way. WE will make millions together Now back to the charts.

One of the most common things I see newer traders fixate on is entry tactics. "ORH breakouts, VWAP reclaims, pivot breaks, moving average trails." and on the surface, these look like the “secret sauce,” and I understand why, because they’re concrete, repeatable, and easy to copy. but after years in the market, I’ve learned that entry tactics are the shallowest layer of a much deeper process. They matter, but only in context, and without that context, they’re nothing more than mechanical actions with no real edge behind them. Early in my own trading journey, I fell into the same trap. I tried to copy entries exactly as I saw them online... buy the ORH, stop at LOD, trail with the 9 EMA. Sometimes it worked, and when it did, I thought I’d finally “figured it out.” But more often than not, the trades failed, and I couldn’t explain why. the problem wasn’t the tactic, but it was that I didn’t understand when and why that tactic should be used. I was copying outcomes without copying the thinking that led to those outcomes. What most people miss is that entry tactics are simply tools, not strategies. An ORB works best in a strong environment with expanding breadth and real momentum. A VWAP reclaim is powerful when it aligns with higher timeframe structure and real institutional participation. Pivot breaks require compression, positioning, and a reason for price to accelerate, and when you strip those tactics of their environment and psychology, they lose their edge entirely. the work that rarely gets shown, happens before the entry. It’s understanding the environment. Is the market trending or choppy? Are we in expansion or contraction? Are leaders behaving well or distributing? Is volatility supportive of momentum trades or mean reversion? These questions dictate which entry tactic even makes sense. The same ORB that works beautifully in a trending tape will destroy you in a range bound one. there's also a psychological layer that’s often ignored. Conviction doesn’t come from memorizing a rule; it comes from earning trust in a process through repetition. You don’t build that trust by blindly copying. You build it by studying hundreds of charts, taking trades, reviewing them honestly, and refining what works for you. until you do that work, you won’t know when to press, when to pass, or when to cut quickly. You’ll hesitate, second guess, and override rules at the worst possible moments, not because you’re undisciplined, but because you lack conviction. That’s why I’m cautious when people ask me, “What entry do you use?” The honest answer is it depends. I use different entry tactics in different environments, on different setups, and at different points in a trade lifecycle. Sometimes I want early confirmation, sometimes I want patience, and sometimes I want to buy strength; other times I want to buy the first pullback. The tactic is chosen depending on the environment. what I wish I understood sooner is that copying the surface features of someone else’s trading will never produce the same results. You can buy the same ORH, use the same stop, and trail the same moving average, but without also imitating the years of development, the conviction built through losses, and the personalization of the system, the results will be completely different. Trading is not about finding the perfect entry, but it’s about understanding why an entry works, when it’s appropriate, and how it fits into a broader process. Without that foundation, entry tactics become random, but with it becomes an edge. That’s the difference between copying a strategy and actually becoming a consistent trader!

Coming into today, I had only two names on my radar: $TSLA (long) and $MSFT (short). My scans were relatively quiet overall, which to me is usually a good signal to slow down and stay patient. When nothing is screaming at me, it’s often best for me to focus on the highest quality ideas instead of forcing trades just to be active. I wasn’t a fan of the gap up across the board this morning. I would’ve preferred to see a gap down into support pivots followed by a rally higher, as that usually offers cleaner risk and better R/R. That said, the market doesn’t care about my preferences, so I just adjusted my focus. $TSLA ended up running right at the open, but once I looked at the R/R, it didn’t make much sense to chase it. The move was extended, and I wasn’t willing to force a long when the entry didn’t line up with my plan. Because of that, my attention shifted almost entirely to $MSFT. The level I had marked was 477, and my plan was simple: if weakness presented itself off the open, I wanted to see that level break. I waited through the first 15 minutes to let volatility settle, then executed the opening range breakdown to the downside. The timing lined up well with the broader market as $SPY and $QQQ both started filling their gap pivots, with $SPY pressing toward LOD and $QQQ flushing before reclaiming. The bigger picture on $MSFT is what made this trade attractive in the first place. On the weekly TF, the chart is showing clear signs of distribution and is trading below all major EMAs. The daily chart reflects the same thing. That context is critical for me, because every trade I take starts from the weekly down to the daily, then works into the intraday execution. I’m not interested in shorting strong weekly uptrends; I want alignment across timeframes, and $MSFT has that on the downside right now. I’ve got a decent cushion on the remaining position and plan to treat this as a swing as long as my stop at breakeven doesn’t get hit. If the structure continues to work, I’ll stay with it. If not, I’m perfectly fine getting taken out flat. The trade has already done what I needed it to do. Days like today are a good reminder that less is often more. You don’t need a long watchlist or constant action to have a productive session. The best trades come from waiting, letting the market show its hand, and then executing when price lines up with your higher timeframe thesis.

The beauty of riding trends with strict rules is that even when stocks broke down yesterday afternoon, you’d still have been better off managing risk calmly than panic-selling on Friday. Some monster stocks only broke Friday’s lows this morning, while others aren’t even close, still holding strong, some even higher. Like always, context matters, like the stocks you hold matter. Until we get more data, it’s not all doom and gloom, even if it feels that way right now.

$TSLA - One for the textbooks!✍️ Monthly breaking out after YEARS of consolidation acting as a spring that finally starting to snap... Shorts have tried to drag this down multiple times yet they were always met with a higher low Institutional funds are loading up as owning this will not be up for debate at their end of year review. The robotics race is upon us, many will sell too early.

Qullamaggie Setups to Study: $TWLO June 15 2020 "TWLO another one - you have a big move, chops around for a bit, goes sideways in a choppy range, finds support on the rising 20 day, starts building a range, tight range, puts in a narrow candle and then breaks out on higher volume. Now obviousuly most of the time you can't kind of determine early in the day it's gonna have higher volume. But espeically if you're trading large and mid cap stocks, they always have volume. You don't need to worry about it. And look at what it did." - Qullamaggie All lines/annotations are exactly as Qullamaggie drew them.
