@naomicfisher We expect things of kids at school that we never expect of adults. A kid forgot to pack his undies for after swimming. He lived a few doors down from the school but prin refused help coz "must learn" & kid was incredibly uncomfortable in no underwear for the rest of the day.

This morning my child forgot their swimming kit. I didn’t have a meeting first thing and so I went into school with it. That’s because that is what I would like someone else to do that for me in the same situation. I want them to learn that when things go wrong, other people will do what they can to help you out.
