Coming to Gather Round by car, drop into Bests Winery near Great Western. Here you are stepping into Australian wine history. Home to Australia’s and some of the World’s oldest producing vines. I was here 35 years ago, only the vines have changed.

Next week I’ll holidaying around Bright and have the following oval walks and ‘adventurous drives’ planned > Mitta United FC who play on (2) ovals (at Mitta Mitta & Eskdale) and Keiwa-Sandy Creek FC whose home ground is in a town called Tangambalanga.

@trev1712 Spot on Trev. ‘High draft picks’ are no guarantees of success. Dylan Grimes💛, Kane Lambert, Marlion Pickett etc. etc. all these guys worked their backsides off to make it to the penultimate prize through unexpected pathways. Talent only gets you so far.

Doesn’t matter one iota how good a jnr footballer you were or what number you were drafted. That just gives you a ticket to the big league. Once in the system every dog is fighting for their spot. It’s true in life & AFL is no different. Don’t miss the opportunity or it’s gone.🐯

@Tigers_of_Old Fast forward to Q4 and NM's intensity and attack on the ball was first class. Richmond should've taken their chance against a faltering Carlton in R1 too.

Watching Carl vs Nth & the number of basic skill errors under a roof is comical. Is footy really better than it used to be ?because the quality is very poor in this game.

With the offer of free public transport to combat the high cost of petrol, I'm looking at train travel to the Western Suburbs. There's plenty of Senior Footy Clubs in close proximity to railway stations (great Town Planning). Here's 4-Footy Ovals I could easily walk - 10k steps🚶🏻‍♂️
