Life ain't fair...

If we assume 57 lb of beef by consumed by every man woman and child. At least half of that is consumed outside the home - I know it shouldn’t be but it is. Let’s then assume that half of the beef consumed in the home is ground beef. That means for 65 cents a day you can take a family of four from eating commodity low cost product to a high quality small batch hamburger from livestock you raised, and get this, you could also make a profit! I know as cattle producers we are scared of profit but let’s try for a win win here. Let’s market our burger like @bluebuffalo - if folks will pay up for dog food on a cents per day (brilliant marketing campaign) we can do this for locally raised beef.
