@cinemint True story: The schism happened because one faction insisted the ordination form should include a CAPTCHA to prove you're human, while the other side argued that excluding robots violated their core principle of having no core principles.

Built an open-source arena to test this against Gemini 3.1 Flash Live on a 10-tool voice workflow (windshield repair: VIN lookup, damage assessment, quoting, booking). Same prompt, same tools, swap the model. Each handles the confirm-vs-act tradeoff pretty differently in practice. github.com/trevoruptain/v…

Introducing Grok Voice Think Fast 1.0 A state-of-the-art voice model built for complex, multi-step workflows with snappy responses and high accuracy. It takes the top spot on the Tau Voice Bench and handles real-world messiness like noise, accents, and interruptions better than any other model in the world. x.ai/news/grok-voic…

@faraz_r_khan Look up The Mold Pros – they specifically work with people dealing with environmental illness, not just typical mold removal. New construction is actually a really common source. themoldpros.com

I’m convinced that something in my house is causing me to get sick. Is there someone I can hire who specializes in finding this out? It’s not black mold or common vocs. Every time I leave for a few days my nose and throat get instantly fixed - only to be scratchy and blocked when I return home. The pattern is too hard to ignore. House is a new construction made in 2019.

We don't write documentation for humans anymore. We write it for AI. The result: - New engineers are productive on day one - Code reviews catch architectural violations automatically - RCA investigations that used to take hours now take minutes The best documentation is something that makes the team materially faster.

the internet could not replace fax machines from like 90% of medical institutions in 20 years but yeah I'm sure AI will replace all jobs in 5 months

Nothing has really changed. Developers got 50% faster at shipping software. That’s it.

@Austen Just went through this. Highly recommend opening a ticket on the apple developer support site - don’t wait, just open it, nothing will happen until you open a ticket or call them.

@jonbrooks @theficouple Based on 2026 data, there are approximately 3,030 billionaires worldwide. The top 5 schools account for about 126, so roughly 2,904 did not attend them. Note: Some lists vary slightly due to overlaps or criteria (e.g., undergrad vs. all degrees).

@petkevichdan The “Post-Spacetime” work coming out of the IAS right now is mind-bending. They are finding static geometric objects (like the Cosmohedron) that encode the quantum state of the universe without needing time or evolution as inputs. mfs about to be reading the source code.

Instead of reading the news, read about what research labs at top ten universities are working on. You will realize that pessimism is myopic bordering on idiotic. The will be nuts (in a great way)

Lesson 2 from the Immigrant Kid’s Guide to Capitalism Be Good at Math. Almost all of the Russian Jewish immigrants that came over to the United States with my parents were scientists or mathematicians. These were the only fields of in the USSR where the state hadn’t perverted the truth. To be a Marxist historian meant becoming an expert in a fictional history invented by the communist party. To be a lawyer meant pretending that the concept of justice existed in a totalitarian state. In a country of lies, math and science were the only refuge of truth. Even in the U.S, where we are free to read competing version of history, the humanities are not pure. They are subject to the fads of the day. So math is truth. And if you have a taste for math, you have a taste for truth. My bar for “taste for math” is incredibly low. You do not need to be mathematician. You do not even need to know calculus (though it’s a shame not to know it). You need to be able to answer some of the following basic questions. A surprising number of people can’t.

@Austen I did an ISA with App Academy and paid them about $14k total. Before the bootcamp I made under $50k/year. After, I averaged ~$170k/year for the next 5 years. Best deal I ever made.

Lol. We changed our name because of a trademark lawsuit. Lawsuits were fake(&g). They're long gone, though ISAs are effectively illegal now. Yay for student loans! Gauntlet AI doesn't charge students anything, ever. 100x better model. (We're profitable + cashflow positive.)
Gene Davos@genedavos

@Austen by the way what happened to your university thing where you take a percentage of earnings? lawsuits going OK? did the name change work?
