@TheDavidVinc Maybe you're the argumentative one. I'm just pointing something out. Also I named exactly 10 games, 10 games that aren't "original" to the psp.
English

@trevrockone That's not "at least 10" and you're just here to argue and be pedantic.
And Tactics Ogre is a remake.
Final fantasy 4 had a ton of added content.
And all the rest were never released in English before, so it was the first time that we got them. They were brand new games to us

@TheDavidVinc The four Legend of Heroes games
Gurumin
Popolocrois
Star Ocean
Tactics Ogre
Growlanser
Final Fantasy IV
Though some of them are better described as remakes.

@DAKKADAKKA1 Breath of the Wild is the best 3d Zelda. 2d was always better otherwise.

@heyphilsummers Short length is a feature of 2d Metroid. It helps make them very replayable. I logged over 85 hours into Dread on my switch, getting all the ending rewards.

Metroid Dread (Nintendo Switch | 2021)
I was at a party talking to an acquaintance I hadn’t seen in a few years, and we found ourselves talking about games. I asked if he had played Metroid Dread yet, which at that point was only a few months old, and he responded (and I’m paraphrasing here):
“No, I heard the game is only like five hours long. I’d rather wait until Metroid Prime 4.”
That statement stung in the moment, and it stings even more in a post–Prime 4 world. I tried to tell him he was missing out on something special, but no matter how I tried to sell it, his mind was made up. It’s sad to think that just because a game is short, it’s seen as having less value than something longer.
Dread rules. The smooth controls, fluid combat, awesome melee counters, killer music, and oppressive atmosphere. It checks off nearly every box on the “things a Metroid game should have” list. I think about some of those boss encounters and it’s hard not to lean back and close my eyes like that Antonio Banderas GIF. This is a classic, and I don’t care how short it is.

Funny Story, my first convention ever. MHA had just came out..12 YEARS AGO. I wanted to meet @JustChrisSabat and so I go to his line and maybe there is idk 70-80? people ahead of me.
He shows up says hi to everyone and VERY slowly the lines moving, and I mean so slow that after and hour I felt I was still 20-30 people away? I was like WTH??
Once I finally got to the front of the line I realized why it was taking so long, he literally asked EVERYONE, who they were, why they wanted to meet him, and have a solid 3-5 minute conversation with each person.
I got to meet him and I came with a giant Poster of All might fighting Vegeta that a friend going to Art school made for me as a birth gift. I still have it hung up to this day. Coolest part was after he signed it he asked for a photo and posted it to social media. I was the coolest nerd in the world for like 15 minutes. A true Class act.

@FireAndSteel3 @Notsu311406 The inflation of multipart transforming super robots peaked with Toei's Dairugger XV (1982). Yes, it had 15 constituent mecha.

@Notsu311406 Thought that this was Albania at first, honestly would be pretty on-brand when it comes to Balkan posters

@TruthMonopoly @QuetzalPhoenix I've never heard this. I see it corroborated nowhere. His original family name was DeCesare. Maybe you have the wrong David Chase.
English

@trevrockone @QuetzalPhoenix It’s not an idea. David Chase, the creator of the Sopranos television program, is Jewish.
You were wrong.
English

@QuetzalPhoenix I always assumed the Soprano’s was the perception of Jewish Manhattanites view on their plebeian Italian neighbors in New Jersey and Long Island.

@joniniplo I think your read on Amuro is totally wrong. Just because the man has gainful employment doesn't mean he has no identity. Shinji so called self actualization is such an asspull -- it's not earned at all. They wanted a first Gundam style ending for Eva but didn't set it up at all.
English

@trevrockone Idk, we leave shinji in both the series and the film in a phase where he’s able to start self actualising but Amuro in cca is a person who never developed an identity outside of being the Gundam pilot, I won’t say one is worse than the other but it’s pretty clear that the-
English

@AnyavelGatoNOS More like Tony Soprano to Walter White. Both great, but the older one is way better.
English

@Oldtypecel @joniniplo Neglectful is putting it strong. He's occasionally moody. That's within normal parameters.
English

@joniniplo Amuro 100% inspired Shinji. I don’t even think that’s debatable really. But I do agree with your point. Amuro is depicted to be pretty neglectful of Chan and has some emotional stunting of his own.
English

@Frank90427716 @joniniplo Not at all. He's a conscientious, mature adult.
English

@joniniplo I'm finishing ZZ, is Amuro really that fucked in the head?

I've said it before FF7 is NOT turn based. Enemies don't wait for your turn, they keep attacking you. that is the antithesis of "turn based".
I mean hell ATB literally means "Active Time Battle". It's got nothing to do with turns.
The only real turn based Final Fantasy is 10.
Mog@Mogssu
