BREAKING: The Pennsylvania House just passed a bill to raise our minimum wage to $15/hour with bipartisan support.
This is the THIRD year in a row that the House has stepped up to do their part. The ball is now in the Senate Republicans' court.
It’s time for them to bring this to a vote and send it to my desk.

Unfortunately, Sara Innamorato has chosen to make this about politics instead of public safety. Airports like Pittsburgh International only work when they’re apolitical and coordinated. With the NFL Draft coming, we need seamless federal, state, and local alignment—not manufactured conflict that risks undermining it.

Allegheny County Executive Sarah Innamorato on ICE at Pittsburgh International Airport: “Just like Allegheny County does not need ICE agents patrolling our neighborhoods, we don’t need ICE at the airport where TSA lines have remained short and manageable. Sending ICE into our public spaces and communities is never about safety and security threats and has led to racial profiling and harassment of our neighbors. Local ICE agents should skip the Pittsburgh International Airport, which is not requesting help. Instead, ICE should investigate why a Haitian refugee in their custody died hours after she was released in Pittsburgh a few weeks ago, and ensure tragedies like that don’t happen in Allegheny County again.”

Today, PJ McArdle Roadway was closed to allow our crews to make much needed pedestrian safety repairs to this iconic trek up Mount Washington.
Deteriorating fencing full of emergency repairs was replaced where needed to provide residents & guests a safe path.

For my golfers out there, what are your thoughts on rangefinders? Like them? Don’t like them? Does brand matter? Are the cheap ones on Amazon as effective as the $300 Bushnells? What do the expensive ones give you that the cheap ones don’t? They all seem to take slope into account these days so that’s not a gamechanger for me.
