@digijordan 💯. There are some serious anonomolies about what we are told about outer space. Once you start digging a lot of it is prediction based on forecast and assumptions rather than actual observations. If you question anything your are told you are stupid and should shut up.

Couple observations from yesterday… If you talk about NASA two strange things happen: You get community noted immediately. I rarely ever get community noted. And I talk about WILD SHIT all day. The other thing is… People come unhinged. Like, worse than religious stuff. Here’s my thoughts… We enter into this Simulator and agree to the terms. One of which is ‘we will believe without a doubt that this physical reality is REAL.’ If you’re in matrix mode, you’d never question any of these things. In fact, you’re programmed not to. It would be breaking your TOC. And that’s why these folks have this visceral and aggressive demeanor if you even mildly question ‘space’ or ‘NASA’. Space…the thing we demonstrably know extremely little about. NASA…one of the least transparent and shady government agencies. Both these subjects are obviously protected by the Simulator terms and conditions.

We have spent £180m on plans for a tunnel under Stonehenge. The project is now scrapped. You can be for a tunnel & think spending is a good idea (even if you think the cost of planning is silly). You can be against a tunnel & think spending is a bad idea. But *nobody* can be for spending on this scale with zero result. And yet that is a peculiarly British outcome. Nobody will be reprimanded. Nobody will see their career affected. But that’s £180m of taxpayer money just wazzed up the wall. Totally without repercussions. Multiply this by airport expansions & train route plans and Thames crossings and power stations and other examples you can think of yourself, and… soon you’re talking serious money.

@londonHenryGB The more the State deviates from just providing essential services and then the tax burden moves way past low double digits the more the social contract and implied consent breaks down. It starts to feel like slavery. Which is what it is at current rates.

I am a top 2% tax payer. I go to the office 5 days a week. I don’t choose how 65% of the money I earn is spent. How did we get here?
