Real Madrid 2016-2018 team might actually just be the Greatest team ever in modern football over the 2008-2012 Barcelona team. We’re talking about a Real Madrid side that didn’t just win they owned the biggest stage in football under Zinedine Zidane. They Three-peat in the hardest competition in football, UEFA Champions League winners (2016, 2017, 2018) No team in the modern era has done that. And this isn’t like dominating a league the Champions League is Knockout football, High variance, Elite opposition every round Yet they turned it into their personal playground. That alone puts them in GOAT conversations. They beat EVERY type of opponent This wasn’t a system-dependent team that struggled against certain styles. They beat Bayern Munich (tactical + dominant), Juventus (defensive masters), Atlético Madrid (low block + intensity), Liverpool (high press chaos) Different styles, same result: Madrid win. Individual quality at an absurd level They didn’t just have a good XI, it was a collection of all-time greats in their prime Cristiano Ronaldo — UCL cheat code Luka Modrić — control + intelligence Toni Kroos — tempo dictator Sergio Ramos — clutch + leadership Marcelo — creativity from fullback Karim Benzema — link play + intelligence This is not normal squad building , it’s generational talent stacked everywhere. They have the “aura” factor No modern team had that same inevitability. You could be: 1–0 up, 2–1 up Dominating the game …and still feel like Madrid would win. Why? Clutch goals, Ronaldo knockout performances and inevitability, Big-game mentality They didn’t just play football they owned moments. People forget this part, Squad depth was ridiculous Off the bench or rotation, Gareth Bale scoring in finals, Isco controlling games, Marco Asensio delivering big moments They could rotate without dropping level that’s why they sustained dominance. Tactical flexibility was the underrated part of Zidane People say it was “just vibes” that’s lazy. They could Play through midfield (Kroos–Modrić control), Go direct to Ronaldo, Counterattack at speed, Overload wide areas Zidane didn’t overcomplicate but maximised elite profiles. Others dominated systems, Like the Pep team (Barcelona) of 2008-2012 but Real Madrid 2016–2018 dominated the biggest moments in football history.

Cruyff perfectly reflects how average Barça fan behave toward Real Madrid and its players and how they exaggerates themselves. 1. In 2008, Cruyff said Cristiano was better than United legends George Best and Denis Law. But once Cristiano joined Madrid, he flipped the narrative, reducing him to just a “goal scorer.” A classic rivalry bias. Unable to acknowledge greatness, so the narrative changes. 2. He predicted Cristiano would be finished by 29. We all know how that turned out. Ironically, during a minute of silence for Cruyff at Camp Nou, some fans booed 32 year old Cristiano because of their obsession with a Madrid player. That says everything about their mentality. 3. Before the 1994 UCL final, Cruyff arrogantly claimed Barça were the most complete team and dismissed Milan as nothing. But that Milan side was already elite. The result? A 4–0 catastrophic humiliation, even with Milan missing Baresi and Costacurta. This was one of the worst defeat in a UCL final. 4. His habit of treating his football ideology as moral superiority, just like how culers act today. Cruyff often spoke as if there was one “right” way to play and that anything more pragmatic was somehow inferior. Cruyff was a great football player and manager, but he was also deeply partisan and often arrogant. He behaved like the average culer you see in the social media comments section.

Johan Cruyff didn’t arrive at FC Barcelona just to play or to coach. He came to change everything.

He has every right to feel this way. Y’all lie on this man every single day, and it’s beyond unacceptable. You don’t have to like someone, but inventing accusations out of thin air—with zero proof—is dangerous. Too many people have had their careers, families, and entire lives destroyed by false claims. If you’re going to accuse someone of something serious, you better be damn sure it’s true. Nobody ever stops to think about what it would feel like if you were the one being falsely accused. Stop chasing “gotcha” moments and put your energy into something productive. Life is way too short for this foolishness.

”It was hard. Really hard.” —JAY-Z on what 2025 was like for him ”I was heartbroken. I’m glad we got right to that so we could just get that out the way. Like I was really heartbroken by everything that occurred. We’re in a space now where it’s almost like consequence is not thought about enough. Because everything is so instant, you know what I’m saying? That whole [lawsuit thing], that shit took a lot out of me. I was angry. I haven’t been that angry in a long time, uncontrollable anger. You don’t put that on someone—that’s a thing that you better be super sure. It used to be like that. You had to be super sure before you put those kind of things on a person. Especially a person like me. Even when we were doing the worst things, we had those kind of rules. There was a line: no women, no kids. You hear those sayings, but those are the things that I took from the street. We lived and died by that. So it’s strict for me, like it meant a lot to me. I took that really hard. I knew that we were going to walk through that because, first of all, it’s not true. And the truth, at the end of the day, still reigns supreme.” 🔗 gq.com/story/jay-z-co…
