I cannot get “allowlist” into my brain. I cannot I cannot I cannot. It never stays. It was whitelist in Minecraft so that’s what it is in my brain forever. Similar for I2C master/slave but Git is main in my head

@i2cjak Allowlist and whitelist are two completely different things in my head. Whitelist is like - you’re good, proceed. Allowlist is like alright you can login. So when you whitelist something you’re approving of it. When you allowlist something you’re just saying it’s not a threat.

it is insanely annoying to try to see people take defined engineering terms and twist them with their misunderstandings. Neural Networks (the underlying technology of LLMs) have been considered AI forever. They’re intelligent not because they’re smart, but because they’re self-teaching. Large Language Models are built off Neural Networks. So, LLMs are Neural Networks, which are AI. Not all AI is Neural Networks, and thus not all AI is LLM.

Hot take: LLMs are not AI.

a long time ago I decided on no system. I just work. The only thing I really keep any track of is my meeting calendar. If by rare chance something completely drops out of my memory they’ll ask me for a status update and I’ll prioritize it. But sorry you’re not getting jira time logging or task lists or even regular status updates. You’ll get the software when it works to the best of my understanding of the problem/solution.
