Join us April 3 for a special Good Friday online event as we explore the next part of George Frideric Handel’s "Messiah." As with our previous exploration at Christmastime, our guides will be concert pianist Mia Chung, a Senior Fellow of the Trinity Forum, and maestro Richard Westerfield. Through Lent, we are called to ponder Jesus’ sacrifice and look ahead to his ultimate triumph over death. The next part of Handel’s "Messiah" carries on the story of Christ, moving to and through the Passion and the Resurrection. With a mix of music and conversation, Mia and Richard will continue the conversation. Register here: ttf.org/events/online-… Thanks to co-host Octet Collaborative for their support of this event.

In the shadow of the Second World War, J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis faced the growing darkness of their age with moral clarity. They understood the evil menacing the world. Yet rather than surrendering to despair, they turned to story and imagination, shaped by Christian faith, to offer timeless visions of goodness, beauty, and hope. How did these friends transform the crisis of their time into art, and why do their stories continue to speak so powerfully to us? Our guide for this exploration will be historian @JosephLoconte. In his new book, "The War for Middle-Earth: J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis Confront the Gathering Storm, 1933–1945," he brings to life the extraordinary men and desperate times that forged "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Chronicles of Narnia." The Trinity Forum invites you to join us in Nashville on Tuesday, March 31 at 6:00 p.m. CT for an Evening Conversation with Joseph Loconte, presented in partnership with @MontgomeryBell and St. Paul Christian Academy.

A poet, Anglican priest, and Trinity Forum Senior Fellow, Malcolm will describe his vision in creating this epic ballad, a poetic retelling of the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. With beautiful woodcut illustrations by Stephen Crotts, Malcolm’s book renews in our time the ancient tradition of epic storytelling. Register now: ttf.org/events/evening… The evening will begin with drinks and appetizers, followed by remarks and discussion and a time for audience questions.

Join us on March 13 at 1:30 PM ET for an Online Conversation with Nijay on making our faith more intentional in a frenetic world. As we move through the season of Lent, we’re offering a series to help each of us prepare the way of the Lord. It’s a good time to take stock of our spiritual practices, and our guide today is the author and professor Alan Noble. In his book, "On Getting Out of Bed: The Burden & Gift of Living," Alan contends that simply deciding to engage with the world each day constitutes a declaration of the goodness of God.
