I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you that have left positive comments over the last few days. After what happened over a year ago now I didn’t think I’d ever feel comfortable with people online knowing what’s really going on in my personal life anymore, and while there has been (and will always be) some degree of negativity; the positivity has by and large outshone it. For those that still do bring up the breakup though, I just wanted to say one thing. I went from being someone that was so obsessed with my public image that I was willing to leave the only person I ever truly felt at peace with so that I could satisfy what I felt were the mounting pressures to re-dedicate myself to my work and solitude; To becoming someone that was able to make peace with that internal insecurity and allow myself to grow into someone that was not only capable of being loved, but also of loving (with the unconditional support of my now-wife, of course). A lot of you, over the years, have talked about how I’ve changed; And that’s true. Rather than finding it sad, though, I find it beautiful. For any of you who are now 19 years old thinking that every person you’ll ever meet will only want to use you, just know that I thought the same. For any of you who are now 20 years old thinking that you’re not allowed to be happy because you don’t have enough success to deserve it, just know that I thought the same. For any of you who are now 21 years old thinking that you might have found the love of your life but you’re scared to pursue it because it doesn’t fit what your plan for life is, just know that I felt the same. And while my story may, by itself, be uncommon; What is common is change and growth. All this just to say that life is a constantly evolving experience; and when you meet that one person who’s willing to accept you as you are, take your hand, and be willing to grow with you and by you that the views of others should never drown out what you know to be true in your heart. While I may be willing to express verbal gratitude to my wife for being willing to embark on this journey with me, the one thing I’m most thankful for is the fact that I’ll have the rest of eternity to show her just how grateful I truly am.

I've integrated fluids into my physics engine. Fluids are made of the same particles as solid matter, but computed differently. Phase change is seamless, matter melts and hardens back on temperature change. It runs fast, and world size limits are wider than any game would need.
