Following on from yesterday’s post about the peak Minimal era, there was an era I disliked far more (as I said yesterday, I did / do actually like a lot of Minimal records, especially before it became completely dogmatised).

@JDTwitch There is definitely now some nostalgia for that era; there’s also a book out that is literally a nostalgic look back on it: goodreads.com/book/show/5973…

Thankfully like most musical trends (but not all it seems!) it faded away, and / or we escaped. I wonder if anyone is nostalgic for that music? To end on a positive note, most of the rest of the time I have been doing this it has been pure joy and endlessly enjoyable.
