Dear users, It’s with a heavy heart that we share these very important news. SkinBid’s journey ends here. What was a very hard, but fun 4-year road stops. SkinBid ApS (the company behind SkinBid.com) has been placed under bankruptcy proceedings on the 21st of November 2025, in accordance with Danish law. Our site will, of course, remain usable to allow everyone to withdraw their balance and items. Withdrawals must be completed by the 5th of December 2025, so please prioritize completing withdrawals. A big thank you to all our users for the support we have received over the past years.

The CS2 Situation

Wonder about the impact of the new trade-ups? There are ~20 million coverts (excluding knives and gloves). Even if you traded up every single lower-tier skin to a covert, it only adds ~9M more. In the worst-case scenario, if all ~29M of those Coverts were traded up, it would roughly double the supply of Knives & Gloves from ~5.5m to ~11m. However, that would require every single skin to be traded to a Knife/Glove. It is more likely that the total supply increases far less.

With all this gambling drama around CS, there is a huge recent update from Steam… For the first time, they added “gambling” as bannable. That means they could start banning users that interact with gambling sites API. Simple and easy way to end this cancer. GG WP?
