I think housing will be interesting in the next 10-15 years. Fertility rate low… a lot of people not having kids and don’t plan on it. Most of the kids we have now will be teenagers or young adults. Ppl not getting married. Cohabitating less. Single people all living alone.

I was “sleep trained” as a baby…. I knew my crib, fell asleep immediately when mom put me down. I was only in bed with mom during breast feeding & back to my own space after. I never slept in the same bed as parents. I also grew up in a one bedroom apartment with 2 other siblings for the first 5 years. My siblings & were together in the same room, but separate from our parent’s bedroom. I was also trained to sleep under any circumstances. In a crowded room, under the kitchen table on a blanket when at families house, on my parent’s lap. Outdoors. Noise wasn’t disruptive. We weren’t sensitive to it. Sleep came easy, still does. No issues. Neither siblings. My grandmother did it with her kids, and her mother & so on. I agree that parent & child connection is important, but I also think it goes far beyond than just a sleep pattern. Connection & soothing gestures go far beyond just one part of development. Some moms go over board because of sleep training fear mongering. I will say what no one else does though… All of the kids that slept in between their parents that I know, in my family: Became dependent on this, some were forced & had to be trained to sleep alone at older ages, too old in fact. Have anxiety issues Have separation issues Still live at home in adulthood Codependent behaviors in relationships & with parents Terrible sleep & circadian habits Easily irritated & panic attacks And their parental relationships are rocky. A child always in the bed isn’t easy on a marriage. We tend to see it only ONE way & never take in account how the first 7 years of a child’s life is also pouring the foundation of their fear, confidence, independence, power, safety, security, peace & strength channels. Polarity is an art form here. The parents hold the key to how safe & loved a child feels… Not just in sleep hours, but always. Just my personal opinion, don’t lose your shit. Do what feels right for you & your babies.

What’s hilarious about this whole fiasco is that Disney specifically bought Star Wars because they lacked a brand that appealed to boys. They had tons of merch sales to girls but had almost nothing for boys. So they bought it for billions and the creative dept feminized it defeating the entire purpose of buying it to begin with.

Disney is about to delete five years of canon because Rey doesn't move toys. The sequel trilogy did $4.47B at the box office. Force Awakens $2.07B, Last Jedi $1.33B, Rise of Skywalker $1.07B. The merchandise tells a different story. Star Wars merchandise peaked at $700M in 2015 when Force Awakens launched. By 2019, the year Rise of Skywalker shipped with a billion-dollar marketing push as the supposed finale of the Skywalker Saga, Hasbro's Star Wars line was doing roughly $150M. A 70%+ collapse during the trilogy's own theatrical run. Then 2020 happened. No new movies. A streaming show legally unavailable in most international markets. Hasbro's Star Wars revenue grew 70% year-over-year. One character named Grogu outsold three years of sequel-trilogy merchandise. The sequel cast specifically can't move inventory at any price point. Rey, Finn, Poe, Rose, Holdo: Walmart clearance for years. Diamond Select's president said sales on TFA and TLJ products "were not too strong." Hasbro silently stopped producing Rise of Skywalker figures mid-line. There is no mass-market action figure for Poe, Finn, Lando, unmasked Kylo, Palpatine, or Leia from that movie. The licensees gave up before the trilogy finished releasing. The Lucasfilm acquisition was a $4.05B bet on the merchandise flywheel that built modern Hollywood toy licensing. Kenner's best year selling Original Trilogy toys, adjusted for inflation, outperformed the entire Disney era combined. That's the asset Disney bought. Galaxy's Edge runs the same play. Over $1B per park to build a Star Wars land set on a sequel-era planet nobody cared about. Both parks underperformed projections. The Mandalorian-themed expansion now under construction is the admission. If the rumor lands, this is the most expensive retcon in entertainment history. Five years of IP development written off because the licensees voted with their order books. Luke, Han, Leia, Vader, Boba, Mando, Grogu, Ahsoka generate revenue. The sequel cast generates returns.

I’m getting real tired of @ChudTheBuilder and his retarded followers not understanding what “free speech” means, so I decided to talk to a lawyer about it. Not surprising, the lawyer confirmed what I’ve been saying. If this fucking moron shoots someone after provoking them, he’s probably going to jail, and if he gets his ass kicked, he’s not winning a lawsuit. The first amendment isn’t a pass to be an ignorant cunt. In the real world, you should watch your fuckin mouth because a private citizen doesn’t play by the same rules as the government, and they may even have a justifiable legal argument for rocking your shit.

There is a very formative moment for many young people where, once you start to get into more serious rooms, you quickly realize just how human everyone is. Many of the “accomplished elders” who seem put together and like they have it all figured out, are in reality, also still trying to figure it out. They know a lot, they have reps and experience, but things like insecurity and imposter syndrome tend to stick around. Many older men aren’t used to being challenged in any way and as a result, can react poorly to it. Many people put on a facade of having it figured out when they are just as unsure of the future as I am. Many people struggle to show vulnerability or admit when they don’t know or feel backed into a corner. These are human characteristics, and regardless of power, access, or experience, they seem to stick around.

Kevin Hart shares the lesson that changed his life “I got a 585 on my SAT, they give you 400 for putting your name on the paper. I guessed A,B,A,C,A,D,A... I did ABACADABA all the way down” “I didn’t care because there was a class trip that same day, I wanted to go. I was told that not taking my SAT seriously would prohibit me from furthering myself in life” “When I saw all my friends get their test scores back and they were ecstatic, everybody’s going to college, I felt like the biggest idiot in the world” “The same people I wanted to rush to go to Great Adventure with, they had taken their SAT the week before. I was the only one who didn’t prioritize so I’m the only one going to community college… I just got left behind” “Lesson learned, any opportunity given should be taken serious from this point on because if not you can find yourself feeling just like this” “I learned from it… now if I gotta take a test you best believe I’m studying for that”

weird gender issues aside, very bold choice to try and get into the cereal game when americans have been consuming much less cereal than even just 10~15 years ago due to high prices, among other things. also on their website, this "man cereal" is $70 for 3 boxes. lmao
