Rate‑limiting isn’t just security, it’s infrastructure. Laravel login kept failing: ‘Table cache doesn’t exist.’ Breeze + Livewire use the RateLimiter, and my app was still on: CACHE_DRIVER=database without the cache table. So I created the table, got fixed instantly.
