Grow London Global’s Sustainability trade mission to the Nordics: Completed! ✔ We kicked off the final day of our incredible Nordic mission in Stockholm in the best way – over breakfast with Stockholm-based investors 🥐 At Norrsken House, we discussed the world of VC investment, learnt all about the @norrsken_org community, and got to know the ecosystem a little more. Thanks to the team for having us 👏 Time for a Meet the Corporate session, as our 14 Grow London Global companies met with @amffastigheter. Our sustainability delegates heard all about how the company work with scaleups, as well as their approach to digitalisation. Our delegates also had the chance to pitch – with big thanks to Thomas Erséus, Anna Gissler & Tove Törneman for the wonderful hospitality 🤗 🚧 Next stop: off to meet NCC. After a wonderful networking lunch, our London companies learnt all about the sustainable transition in construction, before they had the chance to take the stage themselves. Huge thanks to Maria Grimberg & team! Time for our last stop of the mission, as we headed off to connect with @ABBgroupnews and @SynerLeap. Our delegates heard all about ABB in the world of innovation, before each company had the chance to give one final pitch as part of the mission. Thanks to the team for having us 🤝 What a week! Some of our key learnings as we travelled through Finland & Sweden? 📝 Sustainability is IMPERATIVE in the Nordics 📝 75% (!) of funding in Sweden last year went to sustainability-focused companies 📝 Working with what we have is so important – recycle, reuse, turn waste into resource. Hej from Stockholm! 👋 Grow London Global are travelling through the Nordics on our sustainability trade mission, with 14 of London’s most exciting sustainability companies working in the CleanTech, PropTech and Circular Economy space. After a fabulously productive 2 days in Helsinki, it was time to hop across the sea to Stockholm as we began leg 2 of our Nordics journey 🌊 We kicked off with a visit to Elements Stockholm – a new “greenhouse” for innovation around sustainability. Big thanks to the team for welcoming us as some of the first visitors to the new space! 👏 🤝 Our 14 scale-ups also had the opportunity to take part in a peer exchange with Swedish scale-ups to share learnings, insights and challenges. Thanks to @skyqraft, NORNORM and ClimateView for joining and sharing your scaling journeys. 🚌 Next stop: Meet the Corporate with Sweco. We were introduced to their sustainability priorities before our London companies had the opportunity to introduce their business. After that, it was time to split into group discussions to build on connections and uncover opportunities for collaboration. Big thanks to the team for hosting us! 🙌 ♻ Next, it was time to join Stockholms Handelskammare’ Sustainability Summit – as we met with experts and leaders in sustainability. We heard from many fantastic speakers – including our own Pru Ashby who shared on London’s work in sustainability. Time to network, as we hosted a lively London x Stockholm reception together with the Stockholms Handelskammare. Our delegates even had the opportunity to pitch their solution to guests from the Stockholm ecosystem 🗣 A huge thank you to the team for having us at the Sustainability Summit and for co-hosting the After Work networking session🤗 Amazing day!
