The House just voted against banning soda from SNAP. Why should the government fund your soda purchases? If SNAP recipients want to buy sugary drinks, they can do it on their own dime, not on the backs of a taxpayer-funded nutrition program.

@PatriciaHeaton Trump’s own demeanor, tone, language, etc. disqualifies him from any valid comparison to any of our past Presidents, Democrat or Republican. This does not justify violence and threats but Trump himself owns the divisiveness in this country.

I wasn’t happy when Clinton, Obama or Biden won, but I didn’t call them fascist/dangerous/threat to democracy. I didn’t hope someone would assassinate them. I went on with my life with gratitude. Friends on the left, please try this. Your life and our country will be better.
