This is the biggest issue with foldable/flip phones. No matter how durable brands claim them to be, buying one is always a risk. A device can easily last 4–5 years… or the display can fail within a year itself. And the crazy part? Display replacement costs are unreal. For the Flip 6, the quoted price for a new display is around ₹25,000 and I already have two units in my office with the same issue.

Samsung service is becoming a joke these days. Even if you have a valid bill and the original box, they still ask for the purchaser’s Aadhaar card just to provide warranty support. Recently, I sent a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 to the service centre for a software issue, and they demanded an Aadhaar card. The device was purchased under a shop/business name so how exactly is someone supposed to provide an Aadhaar linked to a business purchase? On top of that, they still charged ₹350 despite the bill and all proofs being completely valid. Brands seriously need to learn customer service from Google.

@Trolling_isart Purchased Apple watch series 11 Cellular from TIAA .. your team shipped locked watch and stressed this issue to 3 days... worst service and experience... if you can't inspect watch before shipping , then selling it..

As someone who has spent years in tech content, this issue genuinely matters to me. What’s happening with @TechWiser and @ShokeenSanchit, fellow creators who’ve been doing great work for years, is honestly concerning. Creators should always be responsible and factual. But honest criticism, questioning claims, and expressing concerns in good faith should never become something creators are scared of doing. If brands start silencing creators with legal notices instead of addressing concerns, we’re all losing something important. Hope this resolves soon. Standing with TechWiser & TechBar on this.
