@TsukishiroLuna years ago but everytime there is a fan game/any chance I reset for a female Litten and name it after her. Actually doing a solo Litten run of Ultra Moon on/off to honor her. I know sappy long post but even though I have a ton of Pokemon I'm fond of but that line's special to me.

@TsukishiroLuna Jetta. So even tho they spoiled a bunch for Sun/Moon I didn't see any other mons/final evos of the starters. So when I seen Incineroar and it being a heel wrestler (was also a fan of wrestling) as it I played that was special. I unfortunately had to put Jetta down a couple (3/)

Only play a match or few a day sometimes miss a day but still. Felt like I was getting used to the switches and predictions but now I just don't feel confident picking up the game anymore.

Gonna be honest there is nothing more demoralizing for your confidence as a new battler in VGC/competitive than hitting Ultra Ball Rank from Pokeball/Greatball Rank. Only lost 1 match inbetween a 8 match and 6 match win streak. I've won a few only since then.

@terastalstar @dustygogoat What is its another fire type reptilian starter like fuecoco? I mean this legends game isn't gonna be around till what? 2029? After 2030? Easily 6-8 years after it debuted. Rowlet debuted same time/possibly sooner compared to PLA (six years at most).

@dustygogoat they most likely would give the final evos gmax forms and charizard already has one, so i say this is fake.

@sprite_yena @Fimbulvetr39 That is where I might of had my mix ups then. I loved Legends: Arceus so it makes sense a lot of stuff from there retained in my memory.

@tronman64 @Fimbulvetr39 In Legends: Arceus they actually did give it (and Dragon Claw) a higher crit chance, which was pretty neat

they shouldve buffed x scissor in champions to have a high crit chance cuz why would anyone bother with it

@WheelsMcFantini @Wiltank Like I said the game isn't perfect, its only been out a month at that. It was a downer but in the end for a free to play game its one of the best I've played so there is that going for it.

@tronman64 @Wiltank I have definitely experienced my fair share of issues, nothing is worse than picking a move with 8 seconds on the turn timer just to see the game pick a move for you

I just 100% clicked rage powder on my sinistcha and it did not rage powder …….

@WheelsMcFantini @Wiltank Pokemon didn't faint so the speed calc/priority didn't matter. In the end it really doesn't matter and I originally thought it was just bad luck for me but jumping on here and seeing several ppl with similar issues that I haven't seen before yesterday is a point of questioning.

@WheelsMcFantini @Wiltank What I'm saying is there was/is something going on server-wise. Yesterday I've seen multiple, not only this post, mentioning moves not going through/random buffering. The game, CAN have hiccups server side. Its not perfect. I'd shrug it off if nobody else had the issue same day

@typeswigg Atleast in its description it is true what it says it does with a warning of exceptions i.e allowing the Pokemon to use its moves no matter the opposing Pokemon (with exceptions). There are some other things that don't have these exceptions listed and found out the hard way.

Today I learned Mold Breaker doesn't bypass Spicy Spray. Where the actual fuck are the checks and balances for Scovillain?

@WheelsMcFantini @Wiltank I'd normally agree with this but I had the same moment where the game said it selected a move (game wouldn't even let me but long story) cause I took too long and my Pokemon, who outsped my opponent's two Pokemon, just stood there and took two hits.

@Wiltank Move positioning unironically matters. If the server, for whatever reason, doesn't get your input, it uses whatever is at the top of your set. I bet that's what happened

@Wiltank I had issues today as well. Lost a whole turn's worth of moves at the worst time.

Why not list exceptions under the move description? For a game that has been great for beginners newcomers into this type of gameplay could really use that information. Instruct, sleep talk also bypass the "can't be used two turns in a row" drawback.

Also I shouldnt have to look up offhand sites to figure out obscure move interactions. Like Gigaton hammer. "Champions: This move can't be used twice in a row". If you encore a mon using it a move prior they 100% should struggle THE VERY NEXT turn. Apparently there are exceptions

It sucks cause I have been high on the game and praising it. I'm trying to get to master rank and this killed my win streak. Honestly has rained on any motivation I had at the moment. First match of the day too....

Than the game proceeded to "take the turn" for me by selecting NOTHING. My mons were faster the turn before and when I came it back it came back in time for me to lose a turn pivotal to me losing the back and forth.

So had my first bad experience in champions. Pivotal moment two vs two could go either way and suddenly the game stays on communicating. Waited than said unstable internet. But how being wired? And I looked multiple times and I never lost full bars with excellent conneciton.
