@elibrooks0 @RpsAgainstTrump You don’t seem to realise per your constitution CONGRESS HAS TO APPROVE SPENDING. The president of the USA can not do this, it’s unconstitutional 🤷🏼‍♂️

Have those who are screaming today forgotten that this $10 billion will save trillions of dollars in war in the Middle East? Trump is investing in peace instead of war. This is a masterstroke that will ensure our long term prosperity. This $10 billion is actually a tool to rebuild Gaza and put pressure on Iran.

BREAKING: In an extraordinary and illegal move, Trump says he’s transferring $10 billion from the U.S. government to his “Board of Peace,” which he chairs and can use the funds as he wishes. Where is Congress???

@LevyDuwaine @jarbenmate @AusPoll6 No not Google search results, I actually grew up in a regional area and know many farmers and the struggles they face. A poor environment is bad for everyone. You want to bury your head in the sand that’s fine but reality is different. The environment is struggling in many ways

@LevyDuwaine @jarbenmate @AusPoll6 If you remove too many trees that causes pollution from increased runoff to waterways, plus causes salinity to increase in the soil affecting farmland. It also can reduce humidity and rainfall. You do realise we have the highest levels of deforestation in the developed world.

@TroyDee @jarbenmate @AusPoll6 We have clean air and water. They voted for the gun reforms for a start. They have stopped high country cattle grazing and fire wood collection. As well as making fuel reduction harder. Stopped land owners removing trees to make their own properties safer.

@LevyDuwaine @jarbenmate @AusPoll6 And why do people need dozen of guns? Other than certain occupations, like farmers, there’s no reason for any one to own deadly weapons like guns. 🤷🏼‍♂️ And yes in the city we value clean air and water because don’t always have it. Seems like you take such things for granted.

@LevyDuwaine @jarbenmate @AusPoll6 87% of Australians live in cities bigger than 50,000 people and 40% of the population live in just Sydney and Melbourne. City dwellers ARE AUSTRALIA. Rural residents are small (though annoyingly noisy) minority.

Four polls over the last week are all tell the same story. PHON will pick up 4-5 seats between Sunshine Coast and Townsville. It’s going to decimate Nationals heartland. Libs will probably fair better in outer metro/regional seats. Teals will remain. Labor may loose 1-2.

@wiltdnecromancr @SimonBanksHB @HonTonyAbbott You lose credibility the moment you state “mass immigration”. There is no mass immigration, there was a temporary surge in immigration after Covid which just made up for the negative immigration during Covid, and immigration has now decreased to normal levels.

@micallef_dr @OzGunner38 @BernardKeane You don’t seem to realise that 76% of the population live in cities bigger than 100,000. Doesn’t matter what rural people think, they are a minority and have never really voted for Labor anyway. Unless they win over our multicultural cities they will never form government.

@OzGunner38 @BernardKeane Possibly, but don’t be so sure - there is an element in Libs that sabotaged last election, their time is over - at least with Nats & ON there will be a clear fight, we may well be moving to a period of minority govts - labor are hated in rural areas (pure hatred)

@waynoXzzz @lesstenny This is an Australian poll and has nothing to do with the USA which is a totally different culture. For example, 39% of Australians stated they have no religion in the most recent census (2021). Young people in Australia are strongly progressive not conservative!

@JourneyMacro @c0n_AU @AusPoll6 You obviously haven’t looked at the history of mining booms and busts. Once the resource runs out it’s gone, so is the money. So it’s Australia’s responsibility to save the profits of mining for the benefit of the county like Norway has.

@Geoffrey2576 @Ausbobsmit It’s not stealing because it’s allowed by the rules. You don’t like that partners of MPs are allowed to fly at the tax payers expense? That’s fine I don’t like it either, but we need to lobby Albanese to change the rules, (which were last reviewed by ScoMo by the way).

@dapalmers @AusPoll6 It’s actually not unaffordable to invest in Victoria at all. Victoria now has some of the best cash flow in the nation for investors as rental yields are good. Expenses are also equivalent to Qld (there’s land tax but insurance is far more in Qld so works out to be similar).

@TroyDee @AusPoll6 It’s pretty easy to understand Troy, but ask yourself why investors are fleeing Vic? It’s unaffordable to invest here, so if there’s less investments. Added to that I don’t know how ANYONE affords to pay rent OR mortgage over $550 on avg income. Homelessness going to get worse
