@WaynesWorldlg75@bradpsychology Coming third in the 2 party preferred vote and 2nd in the primary vote isn’t winning now is it Wayne? Not too bright are we ………. 🤷🏼♂️
@Junkmail_84@bradpsychology Yes it’s a failure because they didn’t win the seat. That’s the actual definition of failure - NOT WINNING. Improving your primary vote is not winning 🤷🏼♂️
@StormShine96@_Tumbawumba@AusPoll6 In fact that’s capitalism in action. We have been in a per capita recession for much of the last few years so of course government employment is likely to grow faster than the private sector. That reflects weakness in the wider economy.
@TroyDee@_Tumbawumba@AusPoll6 While technically correct, you’re not acknowledging the reality. Approx. 83% of all new jobs in Australia over the last 2 years are taxpayer funded jobs - making the state larger and the private sector smaller (relatively). This is not a centrist ideal, it’s a socialist ideal.
@StormShine96@_Tumbawumba@AusPoll6 And besides that only relates to the relative strength of the health sector compared to weak business investment in other employment sectors. That does not necessarily mean the state is increasing in size as a specific government policy as you are implying.
@StormShine96@_Tumbawumba@AusPoll6 Except most of those jobs are related to the NDIS and so are not public servant jobs at all but in a sector that is funded to a large extent by the government 🤷🏼♂️
@StormShine96@_Tumbawumba@AusPoll6 Socialism is the collective ownership of the means of production, what businesses have Labor nationalised? I’ll wait …….. Labor is barely more socialist than the Liberal Party. Advocating for worker’s rights and appropriate regulation isn’t socialism they are centrist ideals.
@Pro__Thought@liam_whan@AusPoll6 Since 2023 immigration numbers have fallen significantly and are now similar to the rate of immigration before Covid. Also you obviously are totally ignorant of how difficult it is to immigrate to Australia, we don’t give visas to unskilled workers, except farm workers.
Can you explain why Labor has massively increased immigration numbers, even after saying they would reduce them? Who does it benefit? It’s making our country worse. And don’t bring race into this. I don’t want immigration from any country or any race, unless they are going to provide a massive benefit to Australia. Brain surgeon? Builder? Engineer? Please come. No qualifications? No money? No English? No entry.
@Pro__Thought@liam_whan@AusPoll6 Labor hasn’t massively increased immigration at all. Immigration was unusually high for 2 years due to increased numbers of international students returning after Covid and were a result of the LNP policies post Covid which Labor continued. 1 of 2
#BREAKING 🚨 More results from the South Australian lower house can now be called, with One Nation winning Hammond from the Liberals
6 News has not yet projected results in Kavel (IND ahead), Heysen (LIB ahead), Morphett (ALP ahead), Narungga and MacKillop (ONP ahead)
@Jason70292476@PatellaPhalange@josie2tarts@strangerous10 No you seem to have no idea. Primary vote is irrelevant. It’s only seats in the lower house that really matter when forming government. One Nation MAY pick up 2 seats in the lower house in SA, making them as influential as the independents.
Zero seats, yet Pauline Hanson & One Nation are about to pop champagne.
Deluded or just happy to be big losers? Either way, really embarrassing for One Nation supporters tonight. #savotes
@JeffersonEarlX@k_mahlburg Says the person with a Bible verse on their profile. You realise around half the population of Australia have no religion right ? We don’t care about your bullshit religious propaganda here 🤷🏼♂️
@Brookstarr48@mr_crazz@Melbourne_says@grok It is the current count from only 7 mins ago. At this stage One Nation hasn’t won any lower house seat. They are ahead in 2 or so seats (out of 47) but we won’t probably know whether they actually win those seats for days.
I just wanna take a moment to congratulate one nation for their resounding victory in South Australia last night, winning a total of zero seats so far. 👏🏼
The 'orange wave', they said.
Yeah, righto.👇🏼
@elibrooks0@RpsAgainstTrump You don’t seem to realise per your constitution CONGRESS HAS TO APPROVE SPENDING. The president of the USA can not do this, it’s unconstitutional 🤷🏼♂️
Have those who are screaming today forgotten that this $10 billion will save trillions of dollars in war in the Middle East? Trump is investing in peace instead of war. This is a masterstroke that will ensure our long term prosperity. This $10 billion is actually a tool to rebuild Gaza and put pressure on Iran.
BREAKING: In an extraordinary and illegal move, Trump says he’s transferring $10 billion from the U.S. government to his “Board of Peace,” which he chairs and can use the funds as he wishes.
Where is Congress???
@LevyDuwaine@jarbenmate@AusPoll6 No not Google search results, I actually grew up in a regional area and know many farmers and the struggles they face. A poor environment is bad for everyone. You want to bury your head in the sand that’s fine but reality is different. The environment is struggling in many ways
@TroyDee@jarbenmate@AusPoll6 You are reaching now. Obvious google search results. Im talking a few trees to clear the land around their house for bushfires. They value a few trees over human life. They are socially retarded.
@LevyDuwaine@jarbenmate@AusPoll6 If you remove too many trees that causes pollution from increased runoff to waterways, plus causes salinity to increase in the soil affecting farmland. It also can reduce humidity and rainfall. You do realise we have the highest levels of deforestation in the developed world.
@TroyDee@jarbenmate@AusPoll6 We have clean air and water. They voted for the gun reforms for a start. They have stopped high country cattle grazing and fire wood collection. As well as making fuel reduction harder. Stopped land owners removing trees to make their own properties safer.
@LevyDuwaine@jarbenmate@AusPoll6 And why do people need dozen of guns? Other than certain occupations, like farmers, there’s no reason for any one to own deadly weapons like guns. 🤷🏼♂️ And yes in the city we value clean air and water because don’t always have it. Seems like you take such things for granted.
@LevyDuwaine@jarbenmate@AusPoll6 What Green policies don’t you like? You don’t want clean air and water and our environment protected? You don’t want better rights for workers or better rights for tenants in rentals? More public housing and better public services? Not sure what policy of the Greens you dislike?
@TroyDee@jarbenmate@AusPoll6 And are usually the ones most affected by the green stupid policies voted in by city fuckwits that is doesn’t affect. That is why they are hated.
@LevyDuwaine@jarbenmate@AusPoll6 87% of Australians live in cities bigger than 50,000 people and 40% of the population live in just Sydney and Melbourne. City dwellers ARE AUSTRALIA. Rural residents are small (though annoyingly noisy) minority.
@jarbenmate@AusPoll6 Let me guess fuckin city dweller? Fuck you cock head. The greens are a pack of assholes. No wonder fuckwits like you would vote for them.
