@andrewpprice @NegativeVibrat1 Andrew, I can’t believe that you’re getting maligned for very sensible and seasoned takes on AI, but I’m more gobsmacked by how out of touch these people are about you: His entire business success relies on handcrafted textures and shaders made by and for human artists, folks! 🤦🏼‍♂️

@NegativeVibrat1 It's also possible to care about the wrong message being preached to students, and speak what you believe to be the truth, despite getting nothing for it. Like me.

Dear artists, when you see a famous creator pushing AI tools in their workflow, remember: it’s almost always sponsored. I get offers almost every day: $250–$400 per post, or just free subs and tokens. That’s literally what some of your art influencers are selling you for.

Today we're launching a rebuilt version of Claude Code on desktop. The app has been redesigned for the ground up to make it easier than ever to parallelize work with Claude. I haven't opened an IDE or terminal in weeks. Excited for you all to give it a shot!

@onlinedopamine I have resorted to spending most of my time directly in Claude Code with a custom sync back to the OpenClaw workspace across three machines that work in separate sessions on the same projects. OpenClaw with GPT-5.4 as main agent is relegated to menial tasks now unfortunately.

@markaczmarzyk I'm also happy to keep Wake Up. It's Jeff. as a live-and-learn pilot and just let it be for fun at the moment. My next few projects are meant to be more serious business. What do you have cooking, @markaczmarzyk ?

@troyhitch human voice as the differentiator in an AI world. How are early downloads looking? Curious what the biggest challenge is post-launch

With Anthropic’s stiff-arm today preventing the use of a subscription as the pipe for @openclaw orchestration, I’ve decided to pivot my approach to agentic workflow.

@markaczmarzyk It's been modest, but I haven't done anything to promote it yet. That is by far the biggest challenge: what's the post-launch commerical plan and support strategy? That is, if you're serious about commercializing what you're shipping. And I am :)

@openclaw has been a stealthy productivity killer: so much time spent fixing issues. Today I just jumped into a @claudeai Code session using remote control back to my Mac Mini and did Xcode development on my iPad. I just made a bunch of great stuff instead of tinkering.

I had the exact same experience with GPT-5.4 as lead agent. Only worse: I wasn’t watching closely enough and it wiped my docker-compose.yml with all of my mount points and keys. Except neither of us knew that had happened for 24 very confounding hours. It was nearly useless compared to Opus in the driver’s seat. 🤦🏼‍♂️

gpt-5.4 was basically unusable for me in @openclaw. it would explain what needs to be done, I’d say “ok do it,” and then… nothing. no action, no feedback, sometimes it would just go silent or say it’s “working” with zero visibility. felt like babysitting an intern that never actually touched the keyboard switched to @NousResearch Hermes agent and it’s night and day. same model, but now it actually executes. on par with opus-4.6 for me no idea why the gap is that big but yeah, huge relief after losing Claude OAuth in openclaw

This has been a huge a-ha for me: most of my work is focused on a single project at a time with deep deliberation on creative decisions and polished execution. I'm just not at a place where I need a dozen agents swarming. This setup will allow me to get the best of both worlds.

The only thing that's requiring some heavy-lifting right now is shifting my toolset to MCPs in Claude vs relying on openclaw to burn API tokens managing API deployments to Railway, my CDNs on Cloudflare, etc.

With @AnthropicAI 's shut-down of subscription token usage in OpenClaw, I was forced to rethink how I use @claudeai (it's indispensible in my work now), and I accidentally landed on a setup that's actually better than what I had before.

I know that @openclaw will still play a part in my now @claudeai -centric workflow, but it must be relegated to low level, cost-effective tasks assigned to GPT-5.4. Maybe this is why @steipete is so bullish on @OpenAI ? It’s a hardworking percussionist not the conductor.
