Democrats called it a necessary “sacrifice” for democracy. Media echoed the same. Prices surged from sanctions + tight supply. The message was clear: accept higher costs at the pump to support the war effort. The hypocrisy of the left is unreal. Under the Biden administration we were basically told to suck it up because they wanted to keep giving our money and weapons to Ukraine. The national average for gas was $5.02 in 2022 and stayed above $4 throughout most of the year. So why are democrats complaining now and not then?
