@imeanwegotguys With covid so prevalent within school environments, how safe do you feel even while wearing a mask? Are you aware of any data that shed light on the level of protection an N95 mask provides within the context of chronic exposure to highly infectious environments?

@DudeAdhd "Employers want a workforce that is committed and punctual." So gross that they put that in there within this context. Most school systems are emotionally & philosophically disconnected. They've been that way for a long time. As Hannah Arendt put it, "the banality of evil."

I don’t give a fuck about the claims by the government or teachers about attendance. If my daughter is sick, she does not go to school. We all got Covid in May - because my daughter got infected at school. This attendance policy is completely warped thinking.

Xlear tells you to spray & breathe in, but is this smart to do after exposure to big crowd? Won't that push virus further in & down throat?

@danaparish Not only that, but once it’s installed, I would continue to air out the car as much as possible, and if you have a portable rechargeable, HEPA, you can have that in the car with you until the smell dies down

Do I know any VOC experts? Thoughts on replacing a (mildly) water-damaged car carpet/ pad? I’ve read that the chemical-laden “new car smell” is largely due to carpet. Not sure if true. Can it be off-gassed if left in the sun for a few days before installation?

@danaparish I'm glad you're asking about this! I haven't replaced my car mats in years for the same reason. I don't want to be breathing in toxic crap, but I haven't been able to find car mats that clearly address this issue.

@a_m_mastroianni I'm definitely gonna keep flossing though. I think u just find it hella tedious. I cant think of how it could possibly hurt to floss, but I can certainly think of reasons why the opposite would be true. I hope u still encourage ur friends to floss, even if you've been fine w/o it

@a_m_mastroianni You know ... I stumbled upon probiotic toothpaste recently. I was quite skeptical. But It's tough out there to figure out what to choose when so often the experts themselves disagree or decent evidence contradicts the professional status quo.
