appreciate my lemonade. it's inspired in a persian drink (sharbat, i think?) i don't remember the name but they use basil seeds instead of chia. it has lemon juice and honey. it looks cool with the seeds

@dawnbraekers This is kind of an interesting conundrum, where if you look at some of the biggest supermodels and actresses in the world they have slightly larger noses (ex Giselle bundchen), but the smaller upturn nose is what people want, I assume it’s cause of the kardashians and ig models.

i see so many women having plastic surgery to change their gorgeous beautiful noses for a standard tiny upturn nose and it pains me a little inside, not gonna lie

@dawnbraekers I truly believe this MAGA movement and the broader extreme conservatism we’ve seen will die out with Trump, and we’re gonna see a new side of the Conservative Party take over. I can’t say for sure what form it will pop up as, but this current form we have will not survive.

@dawnbraekers However, I’m quite the optimist. You can look at the term extinction burst in this scenario, when a movement or group feels cornered and at the risk going out completely they push back in an extreme manner before eventually fizzling out.

@try_me_1ce definitely!! my goal was not claiming this is the only reason, there's multiple layers re how beauty standards come to be, directly and indirectly, and various lenses through which we can look at it. i just thought the article was a good read. thank you for your input 🙂‍↕️
