@trystanbending I’m worried about Nyoni. Talent is off the scale, but he’s young and still growing into senior football. Won’t have more than 20-25 games realistically. Jens Hjertø-Dahl is the elite Championship pick up for someone this summer. Would transform our engine room.

@andytidy_80 Absolutely mate, as you say we massively need a player to create something, which looks like a massive threat of his, alongside his work rate. Number 8 has to be the next part. I’d really really like Nyoni he looks a really good fit, wether links are true or not.

@trystanbending Insightful read mate. Shining spotlight on Elijah’s OOP work is key. Fits Matos like a glove in that respect, like Ronald himself, but with much needed attacking and playmaking threat standing him a part. Fascinated to see what number 8 we bring in next to finish the jigsaw.

Great to see Matos has a clear profile too. Plays as a winger, striker and midfielder which offers versatility and the ability to work as a unit in attack interchanging. I love this Vitor Matos, I’m so ready to see how it all works 🇵🇹 🔥

ELIJAH JUST 🦢 🇳🇿 A very positive season with Motherwell where he’s mostly played as an attacking midfielder & second striker. He’s a similar profile to Moussa Yeo positioning wise, interchanging in attack constantly with NZ & MFC. Great data too, Very exciting #Swans ✨

Swansea City have agreed a deal to sign Motherwell attacking midfielder Elijah Just. It’s understood Motherwell are in line to receive a club-record fee initially, plus add-ons. The New Zealand international, 26, is due to arrive in Wales for a medical this week.

I'm against loaning top prospects, but if Nyoni goes to Matos, it's not a bad option. Vitor coordinated the transition of young players to the first team under Klopp, and he also has extensive experience working with youth at Porto. The main thing is that he isn't sacked.
