@DrJesseMorse Medial retinacular injuries and flexor spring ligament injuries are rare in isolation. Looking at the replays of his injury in the finals, it looked like a pronation injury without much rotational stress. SPEEDY RECOVERY!

Kristaps Porzingis #NBA #Celtics Initial reports are that he had the surgery but there are concerned about him missing the start of the 2024-25 season. IMO he shouldn’t miss the start of the season due to the surgery itself, which means they plan on taking it really slow with him. Not the worst idea. If he only had a medial retinaculum repair then they usually get cleared in a month. The season doesn’t start until likely late October. That’s over 3 months away. NOTHING to worry about.
