Most artists still think they need to get signed. Your mind is lying to you. Do this instead: • Release music regularly. • Create a lot of content. • Build a supportive fan base. Don't wait to be put on. Put yourself on!

@BacktothecitySA 4/ Being unique & authentic First, I walked around the city and performed in custom made clothing. Next, I built a set using my mother's plants, a book and a vinyl record. I wore slides for comfort. A bottle of water to stay hydrated. Put the camera on, and record.

3/ Take more chances In October, I performed @BacktothecitySA If you don't know, it's the #1 Hip Hop festival in Africa. I took a chance, released my music, and got noticed by the organizers. You get noticed when you put yourself out there. Take a chance and leap.
