Solo shot now with Valencia. Same 3-2-1-4 idea, but adapted to the squad. One key tweak: DLF → TF Sadiq feels much more natural as a physical linking point, so I wanted to use him that way instead of forcing the original role. After 9 league games: 1st in La Liga 29 goals scored 8 conceded 18.65 xG 8.38 xGA This is the point of these builds. The shape gives you the idea. The players decide the final tuning. #FM26

FM26 The Stupid 3214 is out. No simulations. Real save with Stuttgart. 🥇 Bundesliga champions 🏆 DFB-Pokal winners 🏆 Europa League winners 84 Bundesliga points 100 league goals Only 26 conceded The CM is the real magic here. It makes these offensive shapes work while still giving them stability. That is the point of The Stupid Series. Aggressive ideas. Controlled risk. Strong output. 🔗 patreon.com/posts/fm26-stu… #FM26 #FootballManager

@tsasware Is any meta formation possible with central players, a diamond style without attackers?

I don’t just test for transparency. I also test because sometimes you can smell something in the data. FM26 The Stupid 3214 II looked weird, but the numbers kept pulling me in. Claim vs Reality made me curious. The benchmark confirmed the idea had something. fmdelicious.com/tactics/fm26-t… 📊 68.07 pts The Leeds runs were more random. But the Arsenal data was the one that made me think: “ok, this shape can actually work.” So I took it into a real solo-shot with Stuttgart. 🥇 1st in Bundesliga 📊 61 points after 23 games ⚽ 69 goals scored 🧱 13 conceded 📈 +56 GD This is the fun part of FM. Sometimes testing does not close the idea. It opens the door. #FM26

2/2 The simulation data was enough to make me curious. Not because Leeds was amazing, but because the Arsenal runs showed the shape had real potential. So now I wanted a proper solo-shot. Played manually. Not simulated. That matters. In simulations, the Assistant Manager controls a lot: rests, selections, small fixes, player usage, match management. When I play it myself, I can control those details. And with a weird shape like this, those details matter a lot. With Stuttgart so far: → 1st in Bundesliga → 19 points from 7 games → 20 goals scored → 2 goals conceded → 18.22 xG → 2.86 xGA The interesting part is not only the table. It is the role output. Even strange choices, like Stiller as OCB, can make sense when the player profile fits what the shape needs. That is why I do not always trust “role logic” alone. Sometimes the player profile tells you more than the role name. #FM26

1/2 FM26 The Stupid 3214 II is one of those shapes that looks wrong until you test it. The first data output is honestly interesting. Arsenal test: → 97 average points → 117 goals scored per season → 28 goals conceded → 5 EPL titles from 5 runs → 2 UCL wins → 4 Carabao Cups Leeds test: → 69 average points → 86 goals scored → 54 conceded So yes, it is aggressive. But the real surprise is how stable it can be in a proper simulation set. #FM26

@1Hungdotuan3 The Stupid Series is mainly about how using CMs gives the shape more solidity out of possession :P

Just testing some weird FM26 shapes. Not a release. Not a manager recreation. Only experimenting with roles, OOP behaviour and how far the engine lets you push a 2-striker setup. It can kinda work, but it needs manual fixing. #FM26

FM26 Coudet with Juventus. League performance was very strong: 🥇 Serie A champions 📈 110 points ⚽ 114 goals scored 🧱 18 goals conceded 📊 36W 2D 0L But I don’t want to pretend everything was perfect. The UCL run did not convince me, and the Italian Cup ended with a chaotic semi-final loss on penalties against Fiorentina. So yes, the shape works. But I would not call this a top-tier shape. What I found interesting is the comparison with Mallorca. Juventus are clearly stronger player by player, but Mallorca felt more natural inside the system. That is the part I like about tactic building. It is not only about having better players. It is about profiles, roles, personality, movement and how the squad connects inside the idea. The two strikers still produced a lot. The structure was fun. The league output was excellent. But this version also showed me that adaptation matters more than copying the same tactic into a stronger team. 🔗 patreon.com/posts/fm26-cou… #FM26 #FootballManager

Testing the Coudet idea with Juventus after Mallorca was a good reminder. Same principles. Different squad. Different response. On paper, Juventus should fit easily. But the wide roles needed different behaviour, so I had to adapt the shape around the actual profiles. A role is not just a slot. A player is not just a name. That is why tactics are not always pure plug and play. #FM26 #FootballManager

This is why I do not like treating tactics as pure plug and play. I tried the Coudet inspired structure with Juventus after the Mallorca run. On paper, it should have been easy. Vlahovic, Openda, David, Yildiz, Conceição. Stronger names. Better squad. More quality. But the first version did not translate in the same way. The Mallorca version worked because the profiles fitted the structure extremely well, especially around the wide midfielders and the two forwards. At Juventus, the same logic needed adjustments. Wide Midfielder does not simply mean “put a good wide player there”. The role behaviour matters. The player movement matters. The match engine response matters. So I kept the main principles.. But I had to adapt the roles to the squad, moving closer to inverted winger behaviour and tweaking the striker partnership. That is the interesting part of FM26 for me. Not only building a tactic. Understanding why it works in one environment, why it struggles in another, and what needs to change without losing the original idea. #FM26 #FootballManager

The four-player core of this Mallorca run was ridiculous. Coudet inspired adaptation, season played. → Luvumbo 42G 17A | 7.99 avg rating → Muriqi 40G 21A | 7.83 avg rating → Pablo Torre 16G 25A | 7.45 avg rating → Jan Virgili 13G 19A | 7.63 avg rating #FM26 #FootballManager

FM26 Coudet inspired shape with Mallorca. Season played, not simulated. 🥇 La Liga champions 📊 104 points | +81 goal difference ⚽ 113 goals scored | 32 conceded Very direct. Very aggressive. Built around vertical attacks, crosses and second-ball pressure. → Luvumbo 42G 17A → Muriqi 40G 21A Not a pure recreation. A proper adaptation for the FM26 match engine. 🔗 patreon.com/posts/158879494 #FM26 #FootballManager
