@scott_bot @GalaxyKate the yarrow-stalk process of I Ching is slower (and a worse random method) than the coin-flipping one, but taking longer and doing repetitive, fiddly manual tasks is kind of the *point* ('the I Ching is digital' is technically true)

Seeking examples of intentional slow-downs / frictions that enrich the experience of the person pushed to slowness. E.g., -Tea ceremony -Winding garden path Excluding speed bumps (enrich the community, not the driver). Especially seeking digital examples, but any examples work.
