@howie_hua 14/40 = 7/20 and in my mind I know that’s close to 1/3 which is 33.3 repeating percent so it’s more than that…know that 20x5 is 100 and 7x5 is 35 so 35/100=35%

For today's Mental Math Monday, how would you mentally convert 14/40 to a percent?

Closing the door on the 2nd chapter in my teaching adventure….I have enjoyed the past 3 years at Glasgow Middle School teaching 6th grade math but felt like I needed a change…..so for the next chapter I will be teaching Math 7 at Hayfield Secondary…I am excited to be a Hawk!!!
