Just a little thing that’s been on my mind: Since I started making more pop music, I’ve noticed a shift in my audience. While some of my earlier fans, who loved my filmy tracks, may not be as excited about the change, it’s been incredibly liberating for me. It’s given me a sense of ownership over my success. As a traditional playback singer, we’re often dependent on the songs offered to us. But now, I have the freedom to create my own hits and take full responsibility for them, even if they don’t always perform as well. I’m deeply grateful for the fans who’ve joined me and stuck with me on this journey, no matter the changes.
