Langkah ini adalah sebahagian daripada usaha membina masa depan teknologi negara yang berteraskan panduan wahyu serta memastikan kemajuan digital bergerak seiring dengan prinsip dan identiti kita sebagai umat Islam. Dalam dunia yang sedang dipacu oleh data dan kecerdasan buatan, penguasaan teknologi bermakna penguasaan naratif. Justeru, kita tidak boleh hanya bergantung kepada sistem yang dibina di luar nilai dan cara hidup kita. Saya yakin platform baharu ini juga mampu menjadi instrumen diplomasi teknologi dan simbol kepimpinan Malaysia di pentas global seterusnya menjadi pemangkin sebagai hab digital yang diyakini dunia Islam. Justeru, saya menyeru semua pihak untuk bersama-sama menyokong inovasi ini sama ada sebagai pengguna, penyelidik, pendidik atau rakan industri. In a strategic move to foster deeper collaboration between Malaysia and China in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), MYEG is partnering with Beitou IT Innovation to jointly establish the Malaysia-China Innovation and Cooperation Centre — the Flagship China-ASEAN AI Lab. Set to be located at Zetrix Tower, the AI Lab will be focusing on the convergence of Blockchain, Generative AI, and Robotics. It will drive the development of cross-border applications and tailor AI services to align with local cultures and values. This initiative marks a significant step in realising the shared vision of both governments to position AI as a key pillar of digital transformation in the region.
