Exploring and evolving the Mingo style involves purposefully delving into uncharted territories. In my latest piece, I ventured into unexplored textures, introducing vibrant yellows, blues, and reds that depart from the conventional Mingo palette. The hair, a focal point, is crafted using a novel two-stroke brush, infusing a fresh dynamic. Hand-applied chromatic aberration layers around the face, coupled with lively strokes in the eyes, add a playful dimension.
Unlike previous Mingos, this one features a more pronounced nose, deviating from the subtle hints of past designs. Embracing signature Mingo tropes, the Heart/X on the cheek and the distinctive face swoop contribute to the piece's unique identity. To complement the overall aesthetic, a choker graces the neck, a nod to the established Mingo style.
The introduction of a "comic book" dots texture, achieved through a Gimp newsprint distortion filter, further enriches the visual narrative. The outcome is a vibrant interpretation of the traditional Mingo style, a testament to the continual evolution and experimentation within the realm of Mingo art.

I don't guilt people into buying my art, I don't beg. I simply show myself and who I am in my work. If you connect, that's amazing. If you don't... there are plenty of other people on earth who might.
I didn't partake in the OE craze, or bidders editions, or any of the metas that have come and go.
