@_meera__abdul i love that this cafe provides those who have survived acid attacks a sense of community. Sheroes Hangout uses profits for rehab and treatment which is beautiful. i’m sad it has a reason to exist, though—i can’t believe anyone wanted to cause such grievous harm to these ladies

@EmJayJay88 @SomaKazima2 where did you live that this was the case? critical thinking is STILL formalised into almost every curriculum everywhere. you could argue critical thinking isn’t being taught WELL in that lessons clearly aren’t reaching many students. but it is absolutely still taught

@SomaKazima2 Seriously though with Gen Z the schools pulled out context clues and critical thinking exercises that we used to find on certain pages in our elementary school textbooks, that should partially explain their thought processes.
