Texas Rangers vs the Arizona Diamondbacks MacKenzie Gore vs Zac Gallen The Rangers bullpen, as it has done all season put on a great performance last night. Hopefully having to use them in that manner last night does not derail the entire week. Here's the problem. The next three SCEDULED pitchers are Gore, Rocker and Leiter, with an off day on Thursday. All three pitchers have strained the bullpen this season. Gore is averaging 18.50 pitches per inning, Kumar is averaging 17.38 pitches per inning, Leiter is averaging 17.55 pitches per inning. Teams are hitting .300 on Gore, .315 on Leiter, and .320 on Rocker when the ball is actually put into play. Out of those three pitchers, Kumar is the only one that has more than 1 quality start. All three of these guys need to be efficient this week and save the bullpen as much as possible. Or maybe the Rangers offense can score a lot of runs to give these guys some wiggle room while they are on the mound. Zac Gallen in 8 starts this season is 1-3 with a 4.70 ERA in 8 starts. Teams are hitting .292 off of him. On the road his ERA is 7.13. Teams have crushed him on the road with a .338 AVG #AllForTX

This family decided to rent out their vehicle through a car-share app. Other friends had had good luck with it and it was a nice little side hustle. After all, the car is just sitting in the lane way anyway, so why not. Much to the dismay of the the owner of the car, it was returned like this! How can people be so disrespectful? So as an owner of the car do you just throw your hands up and forget about car sharing in the future, or do you make a claim with the ride share, hoping that the people will be forced to pony up for a detailing job? Or do you just bite the cost - detail it back to clean yourself and resign yourself that pursuing it would only be spending more wasted time on people who probably wouldn't be able to pay you the detailing fee anyway? What would you do?

Top BMW tech fired after just 3 months for ‘overquoting’ a repair? This guy was working 6 days a week and pulling 140 billable hours per pay period. Customer brings in a hybrid making noise on deceleration. He finds a completely blown differential and quotes the replacement plus rear axles as a precaution — standard practice to protect the shop and customer from future issues and liability. Warranty covered the diff but not the $5k axles. Foreman handled the upset customer, repair was done, no immediate problems. Weeks later the customer complains the axles weren’t replaced… and the tech gets fired for overquoting. He says another technician was fired for the exact opposite — not quoting enough when a car came back broken. There are always two sides to every story, but if this is accurate, this hard-working mechanic is getting a raw deal.
