@ttunjji So it doesn’t validate the raw NIN. What it uses is the NIN share code, the user would generate it in the NIMC app, then you verify using NiBSS’ FAS. The identity validation part is in access to the share code, the NIMC app requires phone number verification I think

who has built anything with nin validation here? yk, just so you can tackle fraudulent nin usage

@kasiemobi__ not sure i understand this question but i’m particularly building something around people’s NIN, now how would you validate that to be the user’s NIN? or would you just accept any 11-digit code as the NIN— i want my system to be sure the NIN belongs to that user (citizen)
