Some simple maths for PotatoPay 🥔 a = emissions per day: 7.35B $STRCH b = avrg Tx fee: 100K $STRCH c = estimated max tx per day: 2.5B d = a / b = txs match emissions: 73.5k d / c = chain load: 0.003% What does this mean? - Even if transactions meet current daily emissions we wouldn't even load the chain 1% - We would need to spend a total of 2.6T $STRCH per day to reach 100% chain load. This means anything more than 73.5k tx per day (which can be processed in like 3 seconds) would begin to reduce the circulating supply. - 73.5k transactions in $STRCH is currently equal to ~60 $ADA or $0.0003 $USD per transaction. These numbers might change as more gets added to the nodes, we're starting with a solid base. 🥔
