This made me cry a little. Proud to be a small part of a massive group of talented, hard-working, kind Minnesotans who brought Wild, Wolves, Twins and Lynx games to the fans for 26 years. The end of an era, and I’ll remember my part of it forever 🤍

Worked another @PWHL_Minnesota game today. Awesome to see this league take off.
Crowds fill up lower bowl and suite level. Tons of kids. Engaged and active.
Game production is great.
Merch seems to be doing well as everyone is wearing it.
Good TV deal.
And they’re good.

@richarddeitsch @chelsealeite You’ve seen a lot in your 133 years of media work.

One thing I always pay attention to having covered sports media since 1873 is which outlets are covering something. Was very good to see The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star and CTV at the first practice. I was there for CBC Sports/SBJ. @chelsealeite will cover them daily, which makes her an essential follow. @SavHamilton11 also cares intensely about women's basketball so another one to follow.
Of course the rubber meets the road if these major outlets cover most/all of the home games and some practices.

@historyrock_ This would be in my top 3 of “If you could travel back in time to see any concert” list.

Pink Floyd performing "Another Brick In The Wall" in London 1994.
In 1994, Pink Floyd embarked on the "Division Bell Tour," which featured several significant performances at Earls Court in London.
This tour marked a significant return for the band after an extended hiatus. "Another Brick in the Wall" was a prominent part of their setlist during these performances, and the staging incorporated visually stunning elements that complemented the music in a memorable way.
The concerts at Earls Court became iconic for their grand production and the immersive experience they offered to the audience, making it a pivotal moment in Pink Floyd's live performance history during that era.

@MikeMcMahonCHN We should add a column to the portal tracker to show if players have previously transferred.

Outstanding #cawlidgehawkey game. Starting to think maybe David Carle might be the greatest college hockey coach ever. No matter what he has, he turns it into a winner. #FrozenFour

@JessRMyers That would be a downgrade for Pat. Especially with their new facilities coming. He probably made it clear he wasn’t interested. If he moves, it would be to the NHL.

I have utmost respect for Grant Potulny and Brett Larson, and believe either one would be a success as the next #gophers men's hockey coach. With that said, I was amazed (not in a good way) to learn that as of this evening, Mark Coyle has not spoken to Pat Ferschweiler.

@RyanStieg Not much of a past success equity threshold left for hockey coaches - Motzko, Frost, DeBoer, etc
