It's also very broad and cover both translation and interpreting. I was wondering if there were any similar initiatives outside Europe.

We have the annual @AUSIT_TI conference here in Oz, the NZSTI in NZ, like the ATA, the ITI, etc… But BP conf seems to be more of a ‘private’ European endeavour, no? Is it an association?
