We were privileged to train over 140 community members from Ondo last week on sustainable plantain nursery management. Plantain is a key biodegradable alternative to plastic packaging promoted by the #PureWiseOndo project and supported by @GEF_SGP @sgpnigeria. #ReplacePlastic

A blanket ban on solar panel imports at this stage risks deepening energy poverty, not solving it. Let’s get the sequence right: 1. Invest in local manufacturing 2.Strengthen supply chains & skills 3. Scale demand with supportive policies 3. Then transition gradually not abruptly Nigeria needs a phased strategy, not a shock to a sector already filling the electricity gap.
