One thing I like about the last night interview on Arise TV between Seriake Dickson and Charles, is that it has cleared alot of things for Peter Obi. Supreme leader Dickson succeeded in clearing Obi's name from all shenanigans associated with the NDC primaries, everyone now knows that Peter Obi is not involved. All aggrieved Obidient who participated in the NDC primaries should now cut some slack for Obi. The owner of the party knows what he wants for his party and who he wants to give tickets. We are tenants in the party and every Obidient must respect that. A political party is just a vehicle to a destination. I wish to express my sincere and profound gratitude to my leader, boss, and father, the National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, for the confidence reposed in me to lead the digital communications efforts of our great party. For many years, I have been an ardent supporter of Senator Dickson and the core values he espouses. What particularly endeared him to me is his principled and consistent advocacy for restructuring and the devolution of powers, two ideological positions I firmly believe can fundamentally transform Nigeria’s governance trajectory. Consequently, when he conceived the idea of founding a political party anchored on these ideals, it was a natural and straightforward decision for me to align with him and the NDC. Seriake Dickson is not like Abure. Peter Obi and his online children got carried away with their social media popularity. Overriding Abure to hijack the Labour Party was far easier, but Dickson is a stubborn and proud leader who will not tolerate nonsense. He is bigger than Obi politically. He was a two-term governor of oil rich state and now a serving Senateor.
