dogfooding [dog-foo-ding] verb the practice of using one's own products or services. today @tutorbloc publicly announced our GA release.. for us that means self-serve i.e. anyone can hit the start free trial button and create an account, whereas before it was manual onboarding.

The anticipation is real.. so here you go! That’s right, we’re launching our Subscription product for Educators. We’ve been working on this for the past 18 months and today, we pull back the curtains.

We’ve been quiet, for a reason.. any guesses?

Bringing us one step closer in achieving our mission of consolidating tools & automating workflow to maximise teaching hours 🚀

This group of people certainly need the calendar flex. What's even more exciting, rolling out this new functionality means that we can confidently replace the most common technology stack educators are using: Wix, Calendly, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive, PayPal & Zoom.

Blood, sweat and a few tears later.. calendar syncing is here! You could argue we're late to the party. That might be true, however when we first started, educators didn't need this extra flex as they simply blocked a few hours on Sunday morning or Tuesday evening to teach.

⑧ Since launching Storefronts, we've been closely tracking conversion rates. We noticed there was a significant drop off during the account creation process. We removed the requirement to verify emails before paying & replaced with real-time error checks.

⑦ Publishing new iOS updates is one thing. Ensuring that everyone has the latest version is another. We rolled out version control = users are required to update to the latest version before using.. game changer.

Despite the economic challenges, we had a remarkable 2023. To say that we're proud would be an understatement. From everyone at Tutorbloc, thank you for a memorable 2023 & Happy New Year!
