We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of retired District Officer Tom Daly. Tom joined the ranks of Dublin Fire Brigade in 1985, working his way to District Officer and retired in 2021. Tom played an integral role in our Fire Prevention section where he served as the Petroleum and Explosives Officer until his retirement in 2021. Tom was the Chairman of the Association for Petroleum and Explosives Administration from 2019-2021. He also played a pivotal role in SIPTU, serving on national committees aswel as dedicating his time to the section committee. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tom, his family and friends.
