@petroweaver @UpdateNews724 They didn't build it from scratch, the back end WebKit (before it became blink) was a modified khtml engine. Apple and Google both used it and the original khtml was the engine of the KDE browser used on Linux. You can trace the beginnings to an open source project on Linux.

@UpdateNews724 They created it from scratch, it's their baby, and now "sell it" because it's the most used browser and Google can hugely benefit from it It's not like they've acquired it when it was already used by over 3 billion people. It's not fair.

@ourmoneyguy @UpdateNews724 Here's a reason ... Because it is in the best interest of the USA to stop Communist Russia invading sovereign countries. The US doesn't have military bases around the world to be nice protectors, it enables them to control world economics. It is was keeps US prosperous.

@UpdateNews724 Good! Nobody has been able to give me a reason that we should be supporting the war efforts!

@michaelshermer Without preferential voting, nothing other than a two party system is viable. Without preferential voting you are throwing away your vote if it's not for one of the major parties and potentially weakening the one you find to be the lesser evil

Because the political duopoly we have now is so polarized & delimiting of choice I propose breaking up the 2 parties into 4: 1. Far Left Progressives (eg Bernie, Warren) 2. Liberal Democrats (eg Biden) 3. Classical Republicans (McCain, Romney) 4. Far Right Conservatives (Trump?)

#lca2020 I'm a school teacher looking for Python devs that can help with a pygame framework I wrote for high school students. Used across QLD schools atm. Possibly a garbage collection issue, also optimization. Any assistance is appreciated. I'm at the conference all week.
